The Allman Betts Band has announced its 2024 spring tour. The group’s first US run since 2021 begins in Charleston, S.C., with a May 16 appearance at Charleston Music Hall, setting off a 21-date run across 13 states.

The group–led by Devon Allman and Duane Betts, sons of Allman Brothers Band founders Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts–will go on to play a string of Southeast dates from May 17-19 in Walhalla, S.C., Helena, Ala. and Atlanta, before trekking north to Westhampton, N.Y., for a show at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on May 22.

After two dates in New Jersey on May 23 and 24, the band will head down for a four-night Southeast run through Roanoke, Va., St. Augustine, Fla., Clearwater, Fla. and Louisville, Ky. In St. Augustine, Fla., the band will be joined by Northeast Florida native JJ Grey for a show recalling the Allman Brothers Band’s First Coast heritage.

Next, the band takes the Midwest, starting with The Fillmore in Detroit on May 30; on May 31-June 2, the band will play shows in St. Charles, Ill., Wellston, Mich., and Peoria, Ill. Then, on June 4, the group will return to Virginia for an appearance at Birchmere in Alexandra, Va. Finally, the tour will conclude with five Northeast engagements in State College, Pa., Tarrytown, N.Y., Keene, N.H., Beverly, Mass., and lastly Newton, N.J. on June 9.

Singer/songwriter J.D. Simo will support all but five of the tour’s shows. Tickets will be available for purchase through The Allman Betts Band’s website starting Friday, January 19, at 10:00 p.m. EST.
